Restorative Yoga to Live Cello – December 9th at 3:00 PM

Join Karen for a beautiful restorative yoga practice that promotes healing the body and mind through constructive rest. With the aid of props, blankets, bolsters, and blocks students will stay in supported poses for several minutes allowing for deep relaxing.

Benefits of restorative yoga include quieting the nervous system, reducing stress and relieving deep tension. Simply put, restorative yoga is a wonderful practice. No prior yoga practice is necessary.

The Mala is a strand of beads traditionally used for counting during meditations. Today, many people wear their Mala as a necklace or bracelet as a reminder of their personal and spiritual intentions.

Join Krista Lynn, Spiritual Facilitator and Jewelry Designer (www.kristalynndesigns.com) for this fun inspiring workshop. Each person will individually make a Mala Necklace (using wood beads and semi-precious stones), talk about the meaning of a Mala Necklace, the spiritual qualities of gemstones, mantras and healing techniques through the Mala.! You will also be working with the Healing with the Angels Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue while you are beading. Beautiful beads of spiritual quality will be provided to create your personal Mala necklace.!!

Yoga nidra helps reduce stress and anxiety, calms the nervous system, boosts the immune system and promotes healing. Yoga nidra leaves practitioners relaxed, rested and restored.
