Yoga nidra, often described as conscious sleep where the practitioner experiences a deep sense of relaxation.

Yoga nidra helps reduce stress and anxiety, calms the nervous system, boosts the immune system and promotes healing. Yoga nidra leaves practitioners relaxed, rested and restored.

No yoga experience necessary. Participants should wear comfortable clothes and eat a light meal before practice.

Restorative Yoga to Live Cello – September 28th

Join Karen for a beautiful restorative yoga practice that promotes healing the body and mind through constructive rest. With the aid of props, blankets, bolsters, and blocks students will stay in supported poses for several minutes allowing for deep relaxing.

Benefits of restorative yoga include quieting the nervous system, reducing stress and relieving deep tension. Simply put, restorative yoga is a wonderful practice. No prior yoga practice is necessary.

Message From Your Angels – October 12th

In this fun yet enlightening class, Diana Davis, Usui Reiki Master Teacher, will guide you through the art of using angel oracle cards. You’ll learn how to open your intuition and natural spiritual abilities to receive accurate information during your readings. We will be working with “Messages from your Angels” by Doreen Virtue. The Mala is a strand of beads traditionally used for counting during meditations. Today, many people wear their Mala as a necklace or bracelet as a reminder of their personal and spiritual intentions. Making your own Mala Beads infuses your energy into the beads and encourages you to have a mindful experience in connection to the power of intention. Beautiful beads of spiritual quality will be provided. You will learn the meaning of Mala Beads, how you use them and the spiritual meanings behind the stones you chose. With the holidays approaching, and during a more robust schedule, it is easy to forget to take some time for ourselves. This restorative yoga workshop is designed to allow you to rest, reset, and replenish your body, mind, and spirit.

A combination of restorative yoga poses, yoga Nidra, and essential oil blends will help regulate your nervous system, release tension and stress from your body, and boost your immunity. It’s a deeply nurturing and healing practice. You will learn easy self-care techniques to employ at home so you can continue to bring your body, mind, and spirit into a calm, clear, and relaxed state of balance at any time you wish.

This workshop is particularly beneficial if you are feeling tired, run-down, stressed, or exhausted. Please wear comfortable clothing and socks.
